Removing the Password

Ok, I bought myself a 8900 and I am *NOT* using any Enterprise Server softeware. While tooling around looking at screens, I ended up setting the password on the unit. Now, everytime I try and do anything (or so it seems) I am prompted to enter my password. (And I thought VISTA was **bleep**!)

So, when I try to remove the password, I only see the option to Change Password. How can I reset things so there is NO Password?

I've read a lot on these forum but nothing that really answers this.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Removing the Password

Above where it says set password....there is a choice between disabled and enabled.  Click on enabled (if that is what you have....) and there will be a drop down box....select disabled.

Hope it helps....

Re: Removing the Password

Not an option. There is this tiny red lock by the Enable.

But thanks!
