Resetting ID Password

I have a small problem.

 

I need to reset the ID password as i have forgotten it, also i cant remember the security question answer even with the prompt.

 

How can i do this as when i get the email sent to the handset to reset the password it still wants the security question answer.

So have you used your host email address as your BlackBerry ID , look at those Knowledge Base and see if that allows 

 

KB26361   How to change or reset a BlackBerry ID password

 

KB28111 :Unable to reset BlackBerry ID password when using a BlackBerry hosted email address

 

 KB28232 :BlackBerry ID reset email is not being delivered to the associated mailbox

 

 

If that fails you have to create a new new BlackBerry ID.

I have tried re setting the pasword but it still ask's for the security question answer.

 

How do i create a new ID?

 

I have tried logging in with another email and ID but it says it needs the one registered for that handset.

As I mentioned If all fails you may have to Create a new BlackBerry ID! So always use an email address which can be accessed through a desktop browser to keep record of the account notification emails ,for example you can try  google or Yahoo for your BlackBerry ID .Look at this Knowledge Base Article and create your own new BlackBerry ID :

 

KB26694 : How to change the BlackBerry ID on a BlackBerry PlayBook tablet or BlackBerry smartphone.
