Hi - need urgent help on resetting my BB 9320 to factory settings. I want all setting / application permissions everything back to the original settings when I opened the BB box. All the data and everything can be erased / reset, all I wanted was the contacts for which I have the back up.

Pls help !

Re: Resetting my Blackberry 9320 to factory settings.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Before you proceed, please be absolutely sure you indeed have a good backup of everything you will need; there will truly be no user-created data nor configurations on the BB...more information about backups can be found here:

Depending on the exact amount of cleansing you desire, there are different methods...refer:

  • KB16307 Actions performed by the BlackBerry smartphone during the removal of stored user and application data

For the first two, this method is used:

  • KB14058 How to delete all data and applications from the BlackBerry smartphone using the Security Wipe option

For the final (ResetToFactory) method, this is used:

  • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory settings using BlackBerry Desktop Software

Good luck!
