Is there any way to check on your side whats happening with my emails address I have been using please?

No, I cannot: This is a user-to-user community support forum. We are not RIM employees, but volunteers who enjoy assisting other users. RIM personnel rarely comment on queries posted here.

Wow! thanks so much for assisting me then!! Really appreciate it!
Last 2 questions.... lol
Is there any way of contacting RIM and finding out if the fault is on their side?
And lastly, is there anything else that you can think of that I can do to make this bbm realize my email is indeed connected to a blackberry messenger account?

Hi, I managed to try and do this restore on another blackberry now... A 8529 like the one I had and it still says email not linked to any blackberry messenger account...
There must be some silly setting somewhere that can fix this...
I can't understand why I can't restore now and have been able to on several occassions in the past...

Daniels, like I said, the BBID server has been odd for the past 5-6 days since BBM7 was released.
I hope it straightens out soon.
