SIM

Dear friends, I am not able to copy a contact from my address book to my SIM card.

I followed the user guide instructions but I never find the voice: Copy to SIM Phone Book.

Where am I mistaking?

thank you for suggestions

Re: SIM

Open your address book on the BB > Menu > SIM Phone Book > scroll to a contact > Menu > Copy to Address book or Copy ALL to address book.

Re: SIM

I believe you have It backwards. The poster was asking how to get a contact from his address book onto his SIM, not the other way around. To do this click on your address book select a contact, hit the menu key and select copy to SIM phone book. Unfortunately this has to be done one at a time.

Re: SIM

Dear Lorrie,

thank you for your suggestion, unfortunately, as I wrote in my e-mail, on my menu does not appear the point: copy to SIM phone book.

Re: SIM

The menu item WILL appear IF you scroll to and OVER a number in the contact entry.

Put your cursor over a phone number then press Menu > Copy to SIM.

Re: SIM

Sorry, but no, it doesn't come up when I highlight a name in my address book. And no, not even if I select one that is only a single number and has no additional info like email.

Re: SIM

Protoguy, you did not read entirely what JSanders said.

what you must do for it to work :
  1. home screen >> address book
  2. you get to the contacts list.
  3. Open a contact.
  4. scroll to a phone number
  5. open the menu
  6. select "copy to SIM phone book"
