Save Attachments

Hey, I just got an email with some microsoft word documents. I "retrieved" them, now how do I save them, or if it did...what do they save under when I want to ATTACH the files again in another email?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Save Attachments

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

If you saved the message in the message queue hit MENU KEY  VIEW SAVED. The messages will then appear.

You are basically saving the entire Email. You can forward the email, but not just the separate attachment.

If you need more information please ask.

If not, please resolve the post using the options  by the Kudo's star.

Thanks!

Re: Save Attachments

So your saying I cannot SAVE attachments, and then insert them into other emails? It has to be a forwarded email?

Re: Save Attachments

Exactly, for now.

I hear there will be that capability in the upcoming software release.

Re: Save Attachments

Another question,

I know that you can keep your email messages away from your text messages.

Now, you know the email icon, where its the world and a yellow icon. Is there ANYWAY I can keep my emails in just there, and then have my texts in the mailbox icon? I like that mailbox icon for text messages, but hate the sms/text icon blackberry has. Is there anyway I can switch the icons? Like make my sms/text icon the Mailbox, and keep my emails in the world/yellow image icon?

Thanks

Re: Save Attachments

I was right (for a change) :smileyhappy:

The message queue was designed to be a consolidated function for all messages and missed calls, You can split text and email to separate boxes as you have done, but the email stays in the main box. I can understand the original design concept, but you're right about the options.

If you make the exception to the original concept, and split messages, (because of client requests) then why not make the full exception of a choice of where to go? I think somebody stopped short on that one.

 Thanks,
