Correct, the new *.bbb file is NOT the same as the previous *.ipd file.

Check out MagicBerry by MenaStep for opening *.bbb files.

Re: Saving text messages to PC

i have read these post and try some of the suggestions - changing ti .zip does not wrk there is no ipd file there- magicberry does not wrk- blackberry extractor and pleasure solution s berry extract does not wrk either they are all looking for an ipd file. the only one i found that wrkd is phoneminer and it is not as detailed as abc amber for example in sms it just shows you the number not the name of the contact you txt..... does anyone have a proper and simple solution to open the .bbb on pc now?

MagicBerry does work. Get the latest version. I know it does.

Sorry, this isn't the MagicBerry forum. You should seek support from MenaStep.

By the way, you just "it does not work". That's all.

Why aren't you saying what failed in the process, what didn't work, specifically the error you encountered. You know no one can read your mind, so explaining things in DETAIL will help you get assistance, being vague like this just frustrates those desiring to assist you. And in turn, just causes more frustration for you.
