I have bought the daughter a BB 9300. She has her email. I went to register a BB ID so she can use BBM, BB email etc, but on filling in form it says this username (which I believe is the email address to register with) is used.
Now I have never registered, or my daughter, so I tried to do the reset email, but we never recieve the email to her address, I've checked spam folders etc.
So we are stuck in a loop at moment, this is only email she has, dont want another one just for this, and BB "support" on twitter is woeful, keep asking same question to me all the time, then takes days to come back.
I've also bought her a Playbook for Xmas, and to be perfectly honest, I wish I'd bought her neither now, as so far in a week, I've had poor support, no direct email contact I can find to explain this, only paid for incident support, which I'm not paying for when its only to register....
Anyone know what I can do? help in anyway?
Is the email you register with do anything? do you get a xxx@blackberry.com email anyway when you register? I want to use BBM for her, what I'm thinking was register with my email, and use this, but I dont want it register BBM etc and associate it with my email

they will be able to help you with what you need to do. Also, any help from your wireless provider....in combination...they should be able to help....I cant remember how all that was set up to be honest. I believe they got that started for me when i got the the phone.
