Security Software

I have a 8310 curve and it downloads security software4 to 5 times a day and drops my calls. I think that it is a great phone other than the security software. please someone help or I am going to break this phone with a hammer.

When I am on a call the phones screen goes white and the hour glass thing comes on and goes around for about 2 minutes. Then the phone boots back up the screen shows a percentage bar and says security software verifing. The thing is I dont have internet service. I really like the phone but hate that it doesnt work rite. please help.

Try removing your battery. Replace after 30 seconds - allowing your phone to reboot.

I tried the battery thing it didnt work. And no I dont have a memory card.

go over these steps to see if it frees up some memory. Once you do that, check your device memory again.

I have the storm and the same thing happens to me. I will put me off my phone for 2-3 min. I just got my phone less then a month ago and i can not figure out whats wrong or how to turn it off.
