Security wipe help

i want to know whether it is possible to configure e-mails after wiping out e-mail's ,contacts etc.., using security wipe.

Yes, absolutely it is.

 

I did it to my device last week. Security Wipe > enter my BlackBerry ID to resync my mail accounts > back in business.

i want to know apart from e-mail whether my phone contacts will remain or together both will be wiped out and if so how to restore the conatcts.

  • Make a backup first, using the BlackBerry Desktop Software.
  • Confirm the backup file is on your PC.
  • Perform the wipe.
  • Connect again to the PC > run the Desktop Software > Device > Restore, and restore all or select only the databases (Address Book, etc.) you wish to restore by choosing only those.
