I Just downloaded a program that is a free trial.. so far I have loaded it and it works great as far as loading properly. I do not have the multi media phone package and use my BB just as a phone so I need to send contacts via sms also.
The name of the program is m2bCard. Since I do not have mm, I downloaded and used Desktop Manager to load it. I have paid the $6.99 to the company via paypal to get the unlock code and will post back to let you know if it works sending as well as loading it did. It is very easy to use, just choose contact, then "send as sms", then choose whoever from your address book and go!

Bad news so far... The license code worked.. but I get this message when I send the sms.. using the software.
"Network signal level to low for sending SMS. Try to change location and try again."
But my signal is max and I can send regular sms's. So I sent an email to the company. We will see.. worst case I lost $6.99.

Hello,
Maybe some of you already know (I've written in another post). A friend of mine developed a tool for exchanging contacts by sms.
It is called SMS Vcard Addon and enables sending and receiving Vcard By SMS. The app is very useful, and has been improved with many facilities, as per requests from users.
You can search the net for "SMS Vcard Add-on" and you'll find many good reviews.
Best regards.
