Separate Email/Text Accounts

I currently have my Curve set up to get my gmail email and will be adding work email soon.  I would like to have separate inboxes for texts/pic messages and blackberry messenger and each email account.  Currently I get all messages (text, picture, messenger, and email) under messages and then gmail alone is the gmail inbox.  Is there a way to separate them?

Thanks

Jeremy

Re: Separate Email/Text Accounts

Hello and welcome!

Click on messages > press menu button > scroll to OPTIONS> GENERAL OPTIONS > Scroll to SMS and Email Inboxes - click SEPERATE    This will seperate your SMS's from your emails.  I have 2 emails and I have 2 icons for my mail (each are seperate) and then I have my SMS icon!

Thanks for stopping in!

Re: Separate Email/Text Accounts

That worked perfectly, thanks.  But now I have another question, is there a way to hide the messages inbox that has everything in it?  I would like to just have the SMS Inbox and my email inboxes.  Thanks - Jeremy

Re: Separate Email/Text Accounts

Yes you can scroll over your message box and then click your menu key. Click hide and that will hide it. Or you can click your menu key and click ADD FOLDER and create a folder for all your miscellaneous items and then menu key over each item and click MOVE and MOVE them into this new folder.

have a great day enjoy your blackberry!
