I have just bought a curve 8500 and do not have the option to set up a personal email account - it says to contact my service provider but BT has not been helpful at all - can anyone help? I have been at this for almost 2 hours and am ready to take the blackberry back to the shop and get something else.

In order to use BlackBerry Push Email services you need to have BlackBerry data plan on your account ,it will allow you to add personal email account on your device .So to avail that Contact your Carrier Vodafone and let them activate BlackBerry Data Plan also know as BIS on your Account.
