I just got my Blackberry and am trying to set up my personal email on the phone. There is no email icon to set up personal email. I went online to set it up from there and had to register by entering my PIN and IMEI. I know I entered the correct numbers, but got an error message saying the numbers were incorrect. I'm at a loss as to how to solve this problem. Any ideas?

Make Sure you are getting the IMEI and PIN from the Options > Status Menu..

I did. And when that didn't work, I got the info from the back of the phone, under the battery. I tried inputting the information both with the dots and without. I haev exhausted the obvious options.

Call your Carrier, they will be able to set it up over the phone from their end.

I had to create a new login (my PIN and ID did not work either).  Then I created an email address.  Then I finally managed to get my regular email address registered.
