Signature email

Hi, does anyone know how to suppress the sentence "sent from my blackberry device" when I'm sending emails?

Please use plain text.

Re: Signature email

i can't find the field "email preferences" in option. I have only "general options", "email settings" and "email reconciliation". In none of them I have the field "use auto signature"...or something that looks like it.

Please use plain text.

Re: Signature email

If you re-read that KB, I think that you are on the wrong section...what you say only applies if you are BES...from what you've described, I don't think that you are. Plus, if you are on BES, then you don't go into Options from the homescreen...but, rather, as step 1 says, first going into Messages.

But, if you are not on BES, then that entire section is not for you anyway...and you need to skip it to the BIS section.

Good luck!

Re: Signature email

BES = BlackBerry Enterprise Solution/Server...typically a corporate environment for corporate owned BBs

BIS = BlackBerry Internet Service, the service, purchased from your mobile service provider, that enables Personal/Internet email functions (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, POP, IMAP, etc.) along with many other features.

Re: Signature email

oki. I am BIS indeed.

But same problem as before, once I clicked into "messages" and then "options", there is no field "Email Account Management"

Please use plain text.

Re: Signature email

Then you must be on an older OS...try your homescreen Setup icon.

What you are looking for is the exact same email setup wizard that you originally used to actually integrate this account to your BB. You need to edit the settings inside there, which is where this auto-signature function resides.
