Hi,

I would like to do the software update of my Blackberry curve 9360. But in Menu Option am not able to find the Icon for the software update. Please advice .

go to options>device>software update

what version do you have and bundle?

It could be your carrier has disabled updates over the air. 

You can install blackberry desktop manager on your computer (www.blackberry.com/desktop) - when you plug your blackberry in via a usb cable desktop manager will notify you if there is an update.

Just to add ,Please don't Update your device Software Over the Air,rather use BlackBerry Desktop Software to do the update process as jamead advised.

KB03901 : How to update BlackBerry Device Software using BlackBerry Desktop Software for Windows.

If any Updates are there it will allow you to update your Device Software.

Presently using 7.0 Bundle 1680 (V7.0.0.353, platform 8.0.0.388), I already tried options>device>...But i couldn't find the icon for software update

Hi Sunilkaringhat,

Have you tried with BlackBerry Desktop Software.Your device is running on 7 and  you can update your device OS to 7.1 , as your Carrier Etisalat has also released 7.1 for your device model,So please try with BlackBerry Desktop Software and let us know it it don't offer 7.1 for your device.

Yeah the current you are running ie.7.0.0 353 version is terrible, I'd move over to 7.1
