Software Update

I just performed a software update on my phone wirelessly.  It went through the entire process and now I've lost all my messages and contacts including my BBM messages and contacts.  Most of my pictures are gone as well, oddly two are still there. And I'm not able to connect a mobile network or wi-fi.  When I try to it says "Wireless radio cannot be turned on."

Re: Software Update

When you say Wirelessly is this through your carrier? I'm in Canada and only performed updates through USB.

Re: Software Update

Hello

Online software updates via your phone is never good idea.

Best done from your pc after first backing up your device.

Thank you, but I think it is a little too late for that.

Re: Software Update

If you have connected your device to your PC at some point, a backup might have been created. It worth checking to see if a previous backup has been made. Try searching for IPD or BBB files. If you need to extract them, Blackberry Backup Extractor can help.
