Symbol wont go away

I have the Curve 8900. I have a small clock looking icon that appears in the middle of the screen every few seconds. I cant figure out how to get rid of it and it is driving me mad! Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Symbol wont go away

With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

Give the device 5 mins to quit all the power up data activity.

See if the processor clock persists.

Re: Symbol wont go away

Did you set any recurring alarm in your device?

Re: Symbol wont go away

I don't believe this is the alarm or clock, but rather the 'processor hourglass' seen when the device is running slow or thinking really really hard.
