Sync with Outlook has Failed

I recently allowed Blackberry to update its software on my computer.  When I next ran it, it asked for a name for the files on the computer with which to sync.  It offered Brant and Outlook (not Outlook1, which I also have for e-mail).  I do not understand what it is asking for and have tried both Brant and Outlook.  It will not syncronize.  With Brant selected, it will not even try.  With Outlook selected, it tries and then tells me that it can no sync a calendar entry, then stops.

 

What is the problem?  Can I go back to the old software?

Hello Brant & Welcome to the community!!

 

This may be happen becasue of wireless sync on for calendar entries.

 

Please uncheck it following Home Screen > Menu ( BB Sign) > Calendar > Menu (BB Sign) > Option > Uncheck Wireless Sync or Change it to off (Depends upon the OS version you have).

Thanks for your thoughts.  They sent me on an extensive search.  Wireless sync is either 'no' or 'not available' where I have found it (calendar and tasks) on the phone.  I have not found it on my desktop software.

 

Any additional thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

In DM, select Organizer there you will find Calendar, Contact, Task & Memo.
