Sync with vista calendar and address book

Hi, I'm new to both the Blackberry curve 8310 and Windows Vista.  I cannot get my info from my Blackberry to enter into Vista calendar and contacts as it is not recognized by Blackberry.  Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Re: Sync with vista calendar and address book

Hello. I'm afraid I haven't figured out any options as far as syncing my 8310 with Vista Calendar yet; however I had success syncing my Blackberry with Windows Vista Contacts just the other day.  After loading the Blackberry Desktop Software, go in and click on Synchronize, then click on the Configuration tab.  Under this tab, click on the "Configure Synch..." button.  This should take you to a screen that lets you select which desktop program you'd like to use to sychronize your info.  Select Address Book, and then hit the "Setup..." button.  Select Microsoft Outlook Express, and hit "Next>".  Select which kind of sync you'd like to perform (whether you want a 2-way sync or just to sync from your phone to the computer or from the computer to the phone), and hit "Next>", and then finish.  Exit out and back to the Configuration tab, click on the Synchronize tab, and hit Synchronize Now.  Even though you selected Microsoft Outlook Express to sync with, it should automatically sync with Windows Contacts for Vista.  (Or at least mine did).  Hope this helps!

Hi and welcome to the forums,

BB does not synch with the Windows calender. It recognizes Outlook however.

Re: Sync with vista calendar and address book

I actually contacted Blackberry and was told that they do not interact with WINDOWS Calendar at this time as they were notified too late by Windows  to the new Vista.  They are working on it, but do not have a date.
