The email delivery settings...

Can anyone please explain to me the options in the menu that say:

Confirm Deliver

Confirm Read

Send Read Receits

 

I am understand that if I send an email not only am I notified but the person I am sending the email is also send an auto-generated email that lets them know I am "watching" if they have read the email I sent to them?  I might be wrong but if anyone can please explain those 3 options to me that would be great!!

 

PS...Its on a Verizon Curve 8330

You're absolutely right for Confirm Delivery and Confirm Read. Send Read Receipt will allow your device in sending read receipt to others which will work if they enable Confirm Read. Send Read Receipt can be said as opposite of Confirm Read.
