Trackpad frozen

My blackberry curve's trackpad keeps freezing up, so I can't do anything with it. I can just about navigate through my messages as I can click on things with the trackpad & thank god for keyboard shortcuts ! I found a post saying that I had to tighten the TX screw or something of the sort but I'm worried I'll do something and then it'll no longer be under guarantee... Help me please !!!

Re: Trackpad frozen

Hello _MaisieM,

In this case we can try to reload the software on the BlackBerry smartphone to make sure it is running the latest version and there are no issues with the OS.

Here is how to backup your BlackBerry smartphone http://bbry.lv/kqMaD3

Once you have backed up your BlackBerry smartphone please follow the link below to complete a clean reload of the BlackBerry smartphone software.

Link: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB03621

Once completed test it and proceed with selective restore here is how to restore http://bit.ly/bSbfl3

If you are still having issues after completing the above steps I would recommend contacting your carrier for assistance to see what options are available to you.

Thank you

-DrP
