UMA connection problem

I'm having problems connecting my 8900 to the UMA signal which is usually provided by my wifi signal.

 

I can still connect to my wi-fi and access the internet just the uma signal wont connect anymore. I've got the preference set to wi-fi prefered etc.

 

Wouldn't be such a problem but the signal in my area is shocking, when it connected to UMA it had a full signal, so its rather annoying.
