I just got the Curve 9300. I can't seem to sync the contacts and calendar with my Mac's BB Desktop Manager. It shows the message, "... turn of wireless synchronization by opening Address Book on the device... etc." There isn't such an option available and I have looked at every forum possible. Please help! Thank you.

Hi,
I too was not able to sync my outlook address book. However after I made the following changes, the handheld was synced seamlessly.
Try this:
Setup>Email Settings>Email Accounts>Edit>Synchronization Options>UNMARK contacts>Save
Once you do that, the wireless sync gets switched off.
Do this for all the mail id's you have connected with you handheld.
Transfer the address book.
And then switch on the wireless sync again. Your contacts in BB will be saved on your mail id too..!!
Hope that helps.
Cheers

Hi,
I also have this same problem,
I have gone to email settings , and there isnt an option under synchronization to stop wireless sync, only a "deleted" box which is checked. Which doesnt make a diiference if its checked or not, i tried.
Also if i go to messages, and press options, nothing happens.
I cannot find email reconciliation on my phone to uncheck.
Seriously I have tried on a few seperate occasions and I've finally started losing my mind, I need to sync my calendar.
And if it's set to sync wirelessly then why isn't it doing it then??
I only managed to fix the address book sync where i easily found and unchecked the wireless sync option.
Please help...

Finally, after 2 hours of trials and errors:
For BB 9300
Contacts>Menu Key (BB logo)>Options>Select whichever e-mail address(es) you have there, one-by-one, all of them>Wireless Synchronization>NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO>Save.
Calendar> repeat the above procedure
Now go back to BB desktop manager and re-do a set-up, making sure you check the "Calendar" and "contact" boxes (again).
Now run synch. Now be happy.

Interestingly, the latest version of DTM, now DTS, actually comes up with this when syncing.

Just did everything you asked. After "select which mail box" the desired mail box isnt there, and the others dont have a sync option either. The desired mailbox was present, dont also no sync option available.
Maybe the version im using could help? im running V6.0.0.448, platform 6.6.0.124.

Dear all
I am new to the forum and have a related problem that I cannot resolve:
- Attempted to install wireless address synchronisation with yahoo.co.uk and yahoo.com but had many difficulties
- Blackberry (Bold 9700) stolen and all data transferred to Curve 9300
- Under Address | Options the Contact Lists from the Bold 9700 appear
- Under each email the Wireless Synchronisation option is "Not Available". There is no "NO" option
- The vast majority of addresses have "Synchronise Using: ....@yahoo.co.uk" at the top of the editing screen
- On reinstalling the ...@yahoo.co.uk email account there is no wireless synchronisation box - only the delete box
- Only the addresses without wireless synchronisation can be exported via USB to Outlook or ASCII
Extremely grateful for help and advice
Charles
