Unable to discontinue Auto BCC on my Verizon 8300

I get a message from "Me" every time I send an email from my BB.  I would like this to stop.  I have tried the following link.  I have also tried changing the email settings to no avail.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

You are actually receiving a duplicate of the sent message Not a BCC.

Please follow the directions in this link from the BB knowledgebase.

Please let me know if this address's the problem!

Thank you both for your prompt efforts to help me.

I am using Gmail.  I have tried adding a filter as both of you have suggested, but I am still having the same problem.  Any other thoughts would be appreciated.

so this happpens when you send a message from BB or your gmail on your computer? correct?

 

and you get the same message back in your BB? correct. or is it different fromt this.

 

You dont have any address set up in the BCC field on BIS site?

Yes, that's right.  I get a message on my BB from "Me" anytime I send an email from my Gmail handheld or desktop.  I have another non-Gmail account on my BB and don't have the same trouble.

There is nothing filled out in the Auto BCC field on my BIS. 

I have put three identical BIS Filters to block messages from my gmail.com account and still no luck.

Any thoughts?

delete all filters and set up a new one as per the link i posted above

Tried it again (deleted the others and added another per your instructions).  Still no luck.

Hi,

I think it's time to delete the gmail account from both the PC and BB.  First go to Gmal, and select Imap. then logoout, and log back in and set for POP.  (see if we can rest Gmail) Then set them back up BB, first. try try a message to your other account. If this works set up on PC and reverse. I think there is a setting frozen, that we aren't seeing/thinking about. Please try it and let me know!

Thanks for the tips.  I did as you said with no help initially, then I put the filter you recommended on through BIS with the gmail in POP format.  That seems to do the trick.  Many thanks, again...
