I recently purchased a BB Curve 9320 - but I am unable to sync my outlook calendar on this device. It sync's my outlook email but not my calendar. I have an EDGE connection and am using Push mail -, my account is not on the Blackberry Enterprise server.
Further, the device lets me sync Gmail calendar and contacts wirelessly but not Outlook contacts and calendar... can someone help and let me know a solution.
The airtel guys said to sync using BB Desktop manager but that is only a one time sync using a USB cable beyond that no wireless sync occurs ...
PLS HELP - thanks - Ashish

Hello Ashdag,
Welcome to the community!
Outlook is a offline applcation that can not be sync with your device, if you have configured outlook as MAPI, then it would be able to sync with your device.
Thanks..!

The Outlook that I use is on an Microsoft Exchange server - I am ignorant of MAPI etc.
But the moment I get on the Blackberry Enterprise server - do you think this issue will be resolved and I will be able to sync Calendar and Contacts?

See In case of POP configuration outlook works in offline mode I.e. it will download mails, when you will click on send receive button and will be back on sleeping mode.
In case of MAPI, it directly sync with OWA and download mails automatically, even all changes made in Calendar, Contact, Task & Memos can be easily viewable in OWA (outlook web access) & changes happened in OWA reflect in device as well.
As it happens in case of gmail (stated in your previous post), if you will configure your gmail in outlook, then changes made in outlook will not sync with device, it is happening because you are doing changes in Gmail Web.
There will no difference, even if you will move to BES, as you have to configure your outlook in MAPI profile.
Thanks..!!

If you want a wireless (not manual sync using the Desktop Software) using Yahoo or Google calendar are good options.

Hi,
Easy fix to this is to follow these steps:
1. Connect to blackberry internet service on the web browser on you devise. This is the section where you confirm you email addresses.
2.Once logged in, click on eahc email address and uncheck the sync section at the botttom. make sure this is done for each mail that you have setup. Once done save.
Now you you will be able to sync you outlook to bb manager
