I'm unable to send or receive texts via AT&T using my unlocked T-Mobile 8320 Curve - so far, other functions seem to be okay. The phone's SMS Text "Network to Send Over" setting is GSM. AT&T Tech Support tells me that I have to find a way to change that setting to CS in order for me to send or receive texts (my options here are the present GSM setting, GPRS, or GPRS Preferred), but they were unable to devise a workaround. T-Mobile was likewise unable to help and suggested I contact RIM. So here I am!
Any thoughts/suggestions will be vastly appreciated.

Hi Gildenballokes,
If a battery pull doesn't resolve the issue, you can rule out any software issues by backing up the device and doing a clean reload of the BlackBerry Device Software using the software from the original provider the device was purchased from as shown here: http://bbry.lv/bpv7DT Then try changing the Network to Send Over setting before restoring any data.
SMS is a carrier controlled feature and is supported by the carrier only. An unlocked device running on another provider's network may not have full functionality on that network. You will need to verify with your current provider that your device is supported for this functionality.
