Unable to use BIS and BBM

I bought a second hand Blackberry Curve 8320. According to the seller, he never used BBM or BIS before. I registered to my mobile provider's BIS and BBM service but my signal indicator does not change to all caps for GPRS. According to Globe telecoms, I'm subscribed to the service but their system doesn't recognize my phone which is why I'm still unable to use BB services. Please help!

I'm in the Philippines and I think this phone originally came from the US because it show's T-Mobile when I boot it up. The phone is already unlocked because I'm able to make calls and send SMS through my local provider. I have BB App world and BBM installed on the phone but I'm unable to use my provider's blackberry service. Help!

Re: Unable to use BIS and BBM

Hey Rhon19,

Thanks for the reply.

After checking the PIN number, your BlackBerry® services are not active.

Try reinserting your battery and performing a "Register Now" in the Host Routing Table. http://t.co/aSvjE8k

This process can force down your BlackBerry® services.  If the issue still persists, contact your network service provider for assistance.

Cheers.
