Uncaught message

I buyed my bb 8900 2 days ago and after changing device information i started to receive a message on the phone, the window says something like uncaught message; rim ... Waht can i do? When the window appears I cannot say OK and clear it, and I have to restar my phone taking out the battery.

the message exact is " Uncaught exception:net.rim.device.api.system.ObjectGroupReadOnly Exception"m and it's when i push the call button and it haves to appear the calling ilst

Hi and Welcome to the forums!

 

Uncaught Exceptions are basically the last out in the programming code...some event has happened for which there is nothing in the OS to handle. The fix is to figure out what is doing it -- usually it's an add-on application that is not compatible. What I suggest you do is to undo whatever you did before this started and see if it clears up. If it clears up, then re-do the things you did, but one at a time and very slowly...when it starts happening again, you've discovered exactly what the offending thing is.

 

If you can't get it to stop. You may have to reload your device software.
