I have had my curve for about two weeks now and all of the sudden, it wont start. It goes to a white screen like it is going to start and then it goes black. The little light in the top right corner stays red the whole time when it has a black screen. What does this mean and is there something wrong with the phone?
Edit: This goes on like this in an infinate loop until I remove the battery. When I install the battery again, it will keep this loop up.

So, replying to my own topic...
After doing some research, I think that this is called scrubbing. Is this correct?

Your phone needs a software reload.
Get the latest version of software from your carrier website.
once downloaded to computer, connect the device via usb and upgrade firmware.
Use BlackBerry Application Loader to install BlackBerry Device Software
note: The phone doesn't need to be turned on to do a firmware upgrade.
once you get to the device recognition stage in the application order, it should auto pre-populate the device pin. if it doesn't, try connecting it without the battery until it does. then click next and pop the battery back in the finish the reload.

So yeah... it does nto want to work for me. It keeps giving me an error message. It says:
Unable to complete the loading operation.
Unable to reconnect to the device during a multi-stage load operation.
HELP please!

You will need to call your carrier and get them to escalate your call to Research in Motion (RIM - the makers of blackberry)
They can then step you through a javaload which will bypass the error you are getting.

Now I am getting a message that reads:
JVM Error 547, flash write failed
Scroll for available commands.
The only command that I get is reset. Will edit when i find out what happens.
Edit: So after I clicked reset, it goes through the infinate loop... again...

So I contacted my carrier (US Cellular) and they said that I have to return the phone to the original store that I purchased it at. Is there another way that I can fix my phone without returning it?
Edit: I can't spell ^_^'
