As far as I know, there is currently no way to use an actual location in th Calendar location field. We just type something that reminds us and go from there. However, why can't we use a location from contacts, or from map, or an actual address? This way, when the reminder pops up we can just click 'go to' or 'give me directions' and head off? Currently we need to recognize the location, dismiss the reminder, open the maps application, click get directions.... it's such a long winded process when it could be so easy.
Is there an app that makes this happen? Why has RIM not rolled out this feature already? They have the calendar, maps and contacts applications already. Linking them all together in this manner wouldn't take too much development.
