Viewing desktop versions, not mobile

I only frequent one site where the mobile version of the site is not great for my bb curve 9300. How can I change my settings to view a desktop version of the site without being redirected to the mobile version?

Any help would be great.

That is determined by the site, not the BlackBerry.

 

Many sites will have at the bottom of the page "mobile view" "Full site" or something like that, allowing you to make the choice.
