Hello,

I am  a user of BlackBerry Curve 8520 which i purchased a month ago.

I stay in India and use Airtel as carrier. As the subject says my mobile's screen turns completely white with no activity (except that red light on the top right). I have tried pulling off battery,sim and memory card for like a minute and placed them back but this doesnt seem to work either. Whenever I switch on the phone all i see is a white screen. I did not drop the phone anywhere nor did it get wet or something like that. I was recieving calls and checking emails 15 mins before this error appeared.

Let me know if your problem gets resolved mine is the same way I have a BB Curve 8530 and I am with Sprint. The same thing happen to mine, same situation with me phone was not dropped, was using email and phone minutes before this happening.

Please let me know, I'm getting upset.

I've had the same problem. My carrier is verizon. I as at church so I put my phone on silent and then put it my pocket. When I took it out, the screen was completely white. No drops or spills. Tried taking the battery in and out and updating software but still get the white screen. I can still send and receive calls. 

Anyone out there have any ideas?
