WiFi for the 8330

Presently considering the Curve 8330.  I can find no information on whether it can connect to a home wifi or any other wifi network. Guidance sought.

Re: WiFi for the 8330

The 8330 cannot connect to wifi.  Devices that connect to wifi are the 8120, 8320, and 8820.  Also, the 9000 and some other new models coming out in the coming months.

Re: WiFi for the 8330

I have an 8330. I have no problem getting on the web, sending messages and all the things that normally  can do on my WiFi notebook. So what is it using and what am I missing?

Re: WiFi for the 8330

The OP is referring to WiFi, not the cellular network of your carrier.  WiFi is your wireless internet connection in your house or at wifi hotspots at public places.  The BlackBerry usually uses the cellular network for it's data connection, however, some models have hardware that allows them to use a wifi connection for faster (or cheaper) connections to the internet.
