Wifi problems.

Hello, i've got BB curve 9300, so i dont wanna use my mobile provider internet, how i can switch it off and use only WiFi for my browser?
I was going to my "Manage connections"  -> Mobile Network and turned off Data Services.
Then i connected to my home WiFi network, going to browser, type adress and it says " Unable to connect to the Internet, please try agin later.
If the problem persists please contact your service provider."
P.S my WiFi works fine on other smartphones or androids.

Re: Wifi problems.

Turn off your mobile network data > UNcheck your Mobile Network

Keep Data Services ON if you want to use the browser via WiFi.

But you have not explained in detail what it is you're trying to achieve or what your issue is.

Re: Wifi problems.

I'm trying to access the internet on the default bb browser using my wi-fi @ work. When my wi-fi is on it doesn't allow to browse using the bb browser, hence the error I mentioned previously. People have told me to check with the wi-fi provider but I find this strange because I've tried with a bb curve 8520 and it works fine. I have tried your what you have said in the thread but it still doesn't work. Please assist if possible, btw i am using a bb curve 9300 3G. Thanks in advance

Re: Wifi problems.

If you want to use ONLY WiFi data, and not mobile network data:

On your Manage Connections screen:

  • Go to Mobile Network. Turn off your mobile network
  • Go to Data Services. Leave Data Services ON.
  • Make sure your WiFi is on. Your browser and limited WiFi services will work.
