Greetings -
New here, & new to Blackberry.
Connected he Curve 8520 via the USB to my homegrown Win 7 64-bit computer.
Was 3/4 successful - but Win7 couldn't find a Blackberry driver.

Is there a driver I can download (or is it on the CD somewhere)?
Thanks.

I have the same problem with an 8310.
I've searched the forum for a solution.
All I can find is that KB20023 is logged with BB
"This is a previously reported issue that has been escalated internally to our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available."
Does anyone have a solution for this driver issue?

Perhaps installing the latest version of the Desktop Manager software (which includes all necessary drivers) would be helpful:
Good luck.

Thanks for the reply.
I have the latest BB Desktop software 5.0.1 installed and running. Has been installed before I even first paired the phone with the laptop.
Also tried syncing the phone over Desktop manager and manually checking for phone updates too. No updates available.
If the KB is still open, then I assume that means they don't have an answer yet. It's been open since end 2009...
Disappointing as I'm a huge fan of my BB....

Hello again,
Sorry for the delay...there was an event this week that consumed all time for many who regularly hang out on these forums.
5.0.1 is inadequate to describe your DTM version -- there are 4 octets. Please check Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (aka Uninstall a Program) to see the full version number. If it is anything other than 5.0.1.37, then please perform the recommended upgrade.
Good luck and let us know!

The version installed is 5.0.1.37. I have the latest BB Desktop software.
I've just tried to update the device drivers again:
Bluetooth Peripheral Device: No drivers found
Also just ran a check via the control panel for windows updates, everything was already up to date and installed.

Any resolution to this issue?
I have the same problem.
Pairing the 8530 to WIndows 7 Ultimate 64 bit was tricky.
I am able to sync the organizer, but windows is still showing that the device requires troubleshooting and a driver is missing for fwo enumerations of Bluetooth Peripheral Device.
Thanks,
Chrsi.

I purchased a New Blackberry 8520 Curve and moved up from a Palm Treo 680.
However, I am really irritated that I cannot get my Bluetooth to work. I also have Windows 7 64-bit and obviously I've got the up to date Blackberry Desktop Software and we all appear to have this same Driver Missing problem.

Still struggling with the same problem - 8520 with 5.0.1.37 and Windows 7 => Unable to use bluetooth.
Anything else to try ?
