Yahoo email stopped working, deleted yahoo and reinstated but won't accept old email address.

Hi, we're having problems reinstating an email address on a blackberry curve after setting up the yahoo account on an iPad Air. The user of the iPad and blackberry accessed his yahoo email address via incorrect methods during the initial ipad user learning phase. At this stage he may have caused problems with his yahoo email connections on his blackberry and the account was no longer connecting. I have since deleted his yahoo email on his blackberry and attempted to create another using his old email address " **Removed**@yahoo.co.uk". This has not worked and an alert is displayed showing the yahoo.co.uk address to be contacted. Please advise on how we can reinstate the blackberry yahoo email account with the aforementioned personal address. Thanks in anticipation Regards gaynor Cameron.
