If you were to plug your device into BlackBerry desktop Manger would it prompt you for update?  Have you updated your OS yet?

"Error 523", "App Error 523", or "JVM 523" appears on the BlackBerry smartphone

Receiving "app error 603" or "app error 523" after registration to the cellular network
