battery problem 9320

[ Edited ]
Dear Mr. BlackBerry,
I have purchase your device Blackberry 9320. But i am not satisfy with its performance.
It Switch off automatically whenever battery level come to 90 or 95% full. It stay on Until i try to call someone. as soon as i make call some one device go fully off and i have to remove battery and put it again after 10 second, and it takes 4 to 5 minutes to restart. Even My desktop takes less time to start as compare to BlackBerry Device.
After one hour it again switch off as soon as i make call. Then i have to repeat the same operation.
Please help me to come out of this problem.

I purchase Blackberry for a good quality and durability but i am not satisfied and if this is a quality of your device then i am not going to refer BlackBerry to any one.
My BlackBerry Device details:
Blackberry 9320
IMEI:{REMOVED}
Battery JS1: Lot code:smileyvery-happy:C120416HNT2A01419

Please find the attached Pictures of your device and battery.

Re: battery problem 9320

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Please see this "sticky" post, along with the threads to which it links, for helpful information to guide you as you proceed:

Hopefully, this information will be of use to you.

As for your issue, if you are interested in recommendations, then I recommend that you attempt to boot into Safe Mode:

  • KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in Safe Mode

It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully into Safe Mode, see what happens.

If the behavior ceases, then think carefully...what happened just before this behavior started? A new app? An update? A Theme? Something else? Think carefully as the smallest change could be causal...and attempt to undo whatever that was.

But if the behavior continues in Safe Mode, then you may need to consider more drastic actions -- WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload, and the "Bare Bones" OS Reload Process. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup to your PC...please review the Backup link in my auto-sig on this post for instructions.

Cheers, and Good Luck!

Re: battery problem 9320

OK...then the next sequence of tests I recommend are thus...

Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):

  1. With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
  2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
  3. Remove the battery
  4. Wait 15 minutes
  5. Insert the battery
  6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does

This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.

It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:

  1. Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
  2. Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens

The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.

Good luck and let us know!

Re: battery problem 9320

If I am not calling to any one and using it without SIM with wifi surfing then it runs full day until its battery fully drain without any shutdown.

But if I start using calling facility then it go fully off mode. I changed my SIM card also.

If it is a battery problem then it should be behave same in only wifi surfing as it is behaving with calling facility.

Re: battery problem 9320

Your logic is sound, but I have seen many strange things due to battery issues. If you are right, then your issue is likely with your carrier (e.g., weak signal) or the SIM card (defective). But, the only way is to test...if you choose to not run the test I recommend, then you can proceed with whatever tests you think are more reasonable.

Good luck!

If you indeed did all that I said, then you also spoke to your mobile service provider and/or SIM card provider...what did they tell you?
