i just got a Blackberry from verizon is the curve

i dont use my cellphone is much and my battery goes low reall fast

do i need to due anything speciall or my battery is bad?

I have the 8330 as well through Verizon. I do a number of calls per day and run the e-mail service continually plus browse the net, etc.  With Bluetooth off I generally get 24 to 48 hours of usage before I feel a need to charge (just 1 bar). However, with Bluetooth on I need to do so within 24 hours.

Also check to be sure unused applications are closed. Not sure if they would consume power, but who knows. One way to check is ALT then the escape key (arrow to right of the trackball). This will bring up a set of icons indicating apps or services in use. Home, Browser, Message, Messenger, and Call Log are always on. Anything else should be closed.
