bbm don't work

BBM VERSION 7.0.1.23 don't work
hangs up at setting up then I get blue screen
my mobile is curve 9220
software 7.1.0.714

please help me

Welcome to BlackBerry Support Forums

 

I assume you have BlackBerry Data Plan / BIS already on your account , if not then call you carrier to activate that it fix your current  issues with BBM.

 

If you already have that ( BIS ) on your account then you can try this to see if that helps. First On your Homescreen go to Options > Device > Application Management > Delete BlackBerry Messenger from the list .

After deleting perform a Battery Pull Restart by removing the battery while your device is Powered On .then wait a min.  and  re-insert it back .

 

Your device may take a long reboot , finally from your BlackBerry Browser browse to  www.blackberry.com/bbm and the most recent version available for your device . After reinstalling see if that helps

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan from your Carrier or Mobile Network Provider ?

No you cannot !

 

To use BlackBerry Messenger even over an WiFi Network you need a BlackBerry Data Plan / BIS from your Carrier. So ,If you want to use BBM then Call or Contact your Carrier or Mobile Network Provider to enable BIS on your account .

 

P.S . Who is your Carrier or Mobile Network Provider , On you profile you have not mentioned .
