im saving up to bye a black berry curve 8520 i know i need a data plan iknow how much i "might" be 

but what i need to know i can i pay the data plan in 1 go like paye a them use bbm

on a contract it is completely free everything should already be on your phone when you get it

on payg you pay £5 and have bbm,facebook,twitter,myspace and many other features like whatsapp?

you must call your network provider and ask to give you blackberry services and in about a minute you will have everything working

THe bb plan for me from t-mob I pay £20 for 6 months and it is £5 for a month. You can do this from your carrier's website and you need to have some IMEI and PIN number to activate services, you can find this under options and status. You then need to create a bb I'd and you are best to go to your local carrier store and activate services there.

i have wifi with psk in work loc . i am able to connect with wifi .
but not able to surf net beacuse i need to put proxt ip and port to surf the net .

You should the listed support number for MTN. I don't know it. But you're there and should be able to locate it. Try Google maybe.
