blackberry messenger chat help

Hi guys I sent one of my friends a messege but the R or the D is not showing up like it useally does is that normal or not I'm new to it BBM so not sure

Are you getting a red X  ? 

 

If R  or D  are not showing then your messages are not delivered ,you can call your Carrier to know if they are having any issues with BIS

No the x hasn't shown but the D showed up on one of my messages but not on the other two contact

I've just been speaking to one of my friends and its fine with her but on my other two its got the tick but just not the R or the D

Yesterday some users reported those BBM issues, If you are unable to see R or D with those Contacts then it might be possible that those users are in an part of world where they were having issues with BBM .But still as you can try a Battery pull restart by removing the Battery while your device is Powered On. it fixes most issues within our devices.

 

OR try those steps in a sequence :

 

1- Register your Handheld .

  • KB00510 : How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
  • Wait till a Registration messages comes in your message box.

2- Resend your Service Book

  • KB02830 : Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • ( Wait till a Registration Message comes in your message box for each email that you have configured on your device )

3-  Then perform a battery pull restart like this while the device is powered On remove your battery wait for a min. then reinsert it back.
