i am using this blackberry 9220 device  , and now its all dead . it is rebooting itself again and again .. i have tried to update the os and also formatted the device. i also deleted all the applications  . but the problam remains . plz help

Please first try to boot into Safe Mode:

It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully (and stably) into Safe Mode, think carefully...what happened just before this behavior started? A new app? An update? A Theme? Something else? Think carefully as the smallest change could be causal...and attempt to undo whatever that was.

If you cannot get into Safe Mode or it remains unstable in Safe Mode, then more drastic means will be required...hopefully you already have a good backup of your BB as it is quite likely that you will be unable to get a backup now that your BB is already in this condition:

If the problem continues even then, you may need to try some additional diagnostics:

1. Load your OS "bare bones"...if anything is optional, do not install it.
2. If the behavior presents immediately, then try a different OS with step 1
3. If the behavior does not immediately present, then run for as long as it takes for you to be sure that the behavior will not present.
4. Add one thing -- no matter how tempting, just one.
5. If the behavior does not present immediately, then again run for long enough to be sure it will not have the same problem
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are loaded or the behavior presents

When the behavior presents, you know the culprit...the last thing you loaded.

If the behavior does not re-present, then you know that either step 1 or 2 cured it.

If the behavior presents no matter what, then you likely have a hardware level issue for which no amount of OS or software can cure.

hello sir . thank you very much for your reply .. i have tried all the methods you told me . but none of them is able to solve the problam . I have reinstalled the oprating system using the app loader .. 

but then I was the video and the method on that crackberry.com 

the main problam i am facing is in the initial part . its says that when i plug in my device it should show "  USB-PIN:UNKNOWN " but it is not showing me this . i have tried it 20 times and every time it shows me usb-pin:****,

and i know without geting " USB-PIN:UNKNOWN" this process will not work .. 

plz help me ..

So, it is showing your actual USB PIN? And continues in it's reboot loop? As such, it is normally a matter of timing to connect at the exact moment necessary to get it to display Unknown. 20 attempts is less than I have heard it can take sometimes. You should keep trying, and trying different timings. At some point it should work. But, as you say, you must get it to that point in order to proceed...so you must keep trying.

thank you very much sir for your reply ..  can you tell me one thing that which operating system i should for my pc . currently i am working on windows 7 .. 

should i try on a pc which is working on WINDOWS xp ??

I've done it with Win7 many times. It can be very frustrating and very tricky to get the timing correct. I cannot say for sure one way or the other if using XP would be better or worse for your particular situation.

Maybe you will have better luck with the other KBs listed there? They do not require it to get to the "Unknown" state... Typically, I've been able to proceed whenever it gets to the PIN display state, not requiring the Unknown state. But, your experience may be different.

thank you sir , and i ll surly try it again .. i really appreciate your help .. can you please refer me to other kb articles which does not requiers this unknown state .. but please be sure that they does not say to update the device os . because i have already tried doing that ,,

The point is not to update your OS...but to cleanly reload your OS. You may also want to investigate BBSAK.ORG...sometimes their utility has better luck.
