Hi,

If it work I can save money spending on broadband dongles... does any one have any idea?

Re: curve 9300 as wifi hotspot

Operating System v7.1 is required for mobile hotspot, and the 9300 model is not supported for OS7.1

So, in short, no.

Re: Blackberry 10 - a) icloud equivalent b) wifi hotspot capability ? ? ?

I was wondering if the new bb 10 will have something to compete with apples icloud and also if

they will be able to create wifi hotspots as the androids do?

Thanks!

Re: curve 9300 as wifi hotspot

You can't use it as a hotspot but you can use it as a modem for your laptop or pc.What you need is a usb wire and the blackberry desktop software which you get with the curve 9300 then simply click were it says mobile network and set it up.

Maybe an app in App World that could assist?

Correct, none. No app will do it.

Re: curve 9300 as wifi hotspot

So why is it evertime I reboot my phone, then when it comes back on it says, "uncaught exception: java.lang.nullpointer.exception"? And just an hour ago, I had to reboot the phone 6 times for it to work at all. That "uncaught exception" message would not leave the screen, even after pressing the blue "Okay" button. So I deleted ever app on the phone, and I'm now rebooting to see if that problem will cease. Can you tell me what could be the problem? Oh! I own a Blackberry Curve 9330 platform 6.0.
