my handhelds left and right naivgation is working but the trackpad is not working when i am trying to access any item on menu...for example messages ...........what needs to be done to rectify this ???

Hi,

I too was having this issue with my Curve few months back...

Temp solutions are:

1. go for a batter pull restart.

2. If (1) doesnt help then switch off ur mobile n take out the battery...keep it like that for some time(2-3 mins)...after that press the trackpad n keep it pressed for few seconds(5-10 secs)...repeat this 2-3 times n then put back the battery and start ur BB...this should help temporarily...

But best and permanent solution wud be visit a BB Service Center and get it checked...but b4 u do that, do have a backup of ur BB, cz they will reinstall ur OS after replacing the trackpad...
