curve 9320 replacement

recently had to have my phoned replaced because of freezing, tracking ball not working,  The phone came from Future Shop, and i did everything the manual said but I can't connect to Wi-FI. Just keeps saying failed to connect. Had no problems with my other phone, same name phone. Was the store suppossed to do something other than put my sim card and media card in? It was very busy that day .... thanks for any advice

Re: curve 9320 replacement

Hey mrscapermom,

Have you tested with multiple Wi-Fi® networks? If you are just having issues with your home or work Wi-Fi network  this may be caused by media access control (MAC) address filtering being enabled enabled on the Wi-Fi network. Try adding the MAC address of the BlackBerry® smartphone to the accepted MAC address list for the Wi-Fi network. The steps to complete this may vary depending on the wireless router, see the product documentation for the wireless router for information on completing these steps.

Here is how to find the MAC address of a Wi-Fi enabled BlackBerry smartphone: http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB13233

Cheers!
