device wiped bbm not working pls help

Hi there I connected my device to the pc to download all picture and music files. But the pc asked for a pin that I have not set up. I tried all pins I could think of. But failed and my device was wiped. I have setup everthing but bbm it keep giving me a msg that it is restoring. I have deleted and reinstalled blackberry messaging the latest version I get the display welcome to blackberry, but when I go to setup it gives me the screen that it is restoring and goes no furhter.

Stop deleting and reinstalling BBM... let it sit and work.

 

How long has it sat waiting to restore these contacts?

What version of BlackBerry Messenger do you have installed?

7.0.0.126 the first restoring started just after 7, I deleted and reinstalled after 11 and it is still running

Well, it's not even 7 here yet.

 

Are you connected to a WiFi router at the time? If so, turn off the WiFi connection.

Then, Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

Now, after up and running again, please try connecting to BBMessenger again.

It is now 3am and the BBM is still restoring. I'm not connected to a WI FI router. Since I first downloaded this BBM version I have never used the WI-FI function. Tried connecting once with no luck and kept it turned off at all times. I will reboot anyway to see if I have any luck now.

Can you try connecting to a WiFi router, that might speed up this process.
