I'm a total novice with my Blackberry Curve and struggling. I did not purchase the data package. I am only using the phone for texting and voice. Is there a way to download free ringtones if I do not have Internet access on the Blackberry? BTw, I have itunes if that helps.
One way to get ringtones to the 8900 is to email them to the device.
Desktop Manager's Media Manager will only recognize devices with OS 4.2 and higher .

Thanks for taking the time to reply. However, since I don't have the data package, I can't email. I thought maybe there was a way to send them to my phone number or to download them from a website using my USB cable.
You can try downloading the ringtone to the pc, and after this move the ringtones to the device using Blackberry Desktop Manager and Media manager

The best site for toally free ringtones I've found is www.crackberry.com. All you have to do is register and you're set to download a huge variety of ringtones AND wallpapers.
