Re: dropped blackberry and now all buttons on keypad gone weird

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

That being said, if the problem is something physical (e.g., something broken inside), then there is nothing to be done save for seeking in-hand support from a qualified technician. Typically, such damage would void your warranty (if one exists in the first place).

Best!

Then it definitely sounds like physical damage to me, for which no amount of internet-distance nor software fixes can help.

Good luck!

Well, if they discovered the physical damage, they likely would have voided the warranty coverage anyway.

Good luck!
